Subject: Excellent!!
Subject: Excellent!!
I am not quite as big a fan of this show as the previous night primarily due to the set list but this show is excellent as well with contributions from a few guests. The sound is once again excellent with Phil being a little more up in the mix but still with a somewhat wooly sound to his bass.
Midrange retains a nice liquid quality with SK well defined and the sound of the acoustic guitar also not lost in the mix. Impressive.
I love this whole tour, we will probably never see soundboards but who cares with recordings like these?
My only complaint is that this August run occurred before the use of 24 bit recording which would only render these recordings even more amazingly.
